By now I’m sure everyone has heard about the hacker “Cyberleek” leaking Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) content; but if you haven't here's the timeline.  On August 18th (my momma’s birthday!) Cyberleek released video footage of gameplay (the protagonist playing basketball and driving a car) and a picture of the full map of GTA 6. On their website there was a manifesto that had 3 demands of Rockstar Games:

 

1. “Thou shall not sell digital preorders.  No consumer shall pay for a game through digital storefronts before release and independent review. Physical preorders for tangible media remain permitted”
2. “Thou shall not sell fake single-player DLC. No publisher shall sell access to single player content already present in the base game files the consumer purchased” Basically, don't lock content behind a paywall.
3. “Thou shalt preserve single-player content. Any game featuring single-player content must include an offline fallback state. When server support ends the publisher must release a final patch that unlocks all single-player content for local, indefinite play”. No shutting down the servers, offline play should be available since we purchased the WHOLE game! 

Then, on Aug 19 they uploaded gameplay of someone using a taser and a few seconds of a cutscene. Then again, some knife combat.

On August 20th, they released plane gameplay as well as the protagonist shooting the word “LEEK” into a wall.

And on August 21 there was a video showing supercar gameplay.

 There were reports of the hacker having a “dead man’s switch” so if he was caught it would release the entire game (tho--that image has been shown to be fake) 

If this is real and the hacker does have the entire game and releases it, I don't feel bad in the least. These leaks are coming after

Diamondnzeruff Game Review: Crimson Desert--The Love is There!

The love I have for Crimson Desert knows no bounds!

If you want a game that makes you forget time exists, look no further than Crimson Desert! I’ve been playing this game for a few months now and I’m only about 160 hours in--but I’ve fallen absolutely in love with it. The first week it came out I hated that I had a job and in THIS economy that's literally insane. I’d start playing at 10 am, play for what I swear was 30 minutes; and then look up and it's 8 pm!

I’ll start with the beauty of the game. It’s so beautiful and smooth, the characters are beautiful (I love you Kliff) , the bosses are terrifyingly gorgeous, the TERRAIN makes you feel like you’re really there, be it swimming, flying or running. I feel like I’m actually IN the game!

The gameplay is outstanding. One minute you’re doing your daily’s, cooking your meals and decorating your house; the next minute you’re attacking

Beasts of Reincarnation is out and it's Awesome!...and a few words about Crimson Desert. 😁

I have been waiting all year for this game to come out! Think Stellar Blade meets Sekiro meets NeiR all wrapped in one; with an original spin on it… and a dog!

It’s so much fun! The game is beautiful, characters are beautiful, and YOU CAN PET THE DOG!! Gameplay is slightly challenging yet fun with a parry system similar to Sekiro with lots of exploration. I think that's why people are whining about it.

This exact same thing happened to Crimson Desert. Crimson Desert came out and for at least the first week all you heard was people complaining left and right about how bad it was.  And while there were legitimate criticisms that needed to be addressed, like the frame dropping for some and

We went to OTAKON!!!

Some of the best parts of being an anime fan is being surrounded by other anime fans and where better to do that than at anime conventions! Over the weekend I went to Otakon, the largest anime convention in DC! It’s like 4 floors of gaming, panels, SHOPPING, and anime, anime, anime!

Have you heard? PlayStation users are planning to organize a weeklong protest (PSBlackout) from Aug 23 to Aug 30, 2026! (Due to PlayStation getting rid of physical games and IGNORING all of the backlash.)

Gamers have complained publicly, they’re getting insane levels of negative comments on all of their posts (and rightfully so), and people are cancelling their PS plus memberships.

Even Sony posts not related to PlayStation are facing backlash (again rightfully so!), and they’re still ignoring us.

Gamers have said enough. For one week, gamers will protest!

1.     We will not sign into PlayStation;

I’ll never forget how y'all bullied me about Wuchang! Was it difficult? Yes. Were there kinks to be worked out?  Well yeah. Did I call her a turtle? YES …BUT I CALL EVERYONE SLOW!

I even called the flash slow while playing Injustice!  It’s just my thing! I also called her a cuntknuckle and a cocknugget …but I don’t actually think she has knuckles coming out of her hoo-ha nor do I think she has tiny nugget sized peters!

I actually adored that game. Yes, it was another souls-like game during a wave of soulslikes coming out back to back. But they managed to stand out and make her special!

I was used to putting all my RUNES INTO STRENGTH; but, due to the difference in the skill tree and the gameplay--I actually had to level up my brain and become a better gamer.  The bosses were incredible, the game was beautiful (and so was Wuchang) and my favorite part…

Gamers Unite!... And, I’m sorry Nintendo

It's been 3 weeks since PlayStation announced that they are ending physical disc production and despite social media flooding them with RIGHTFUL criticism, they've held strong on their stance. With every post they essentially say “we don't give a damn about what you want. You're gonna take what we give you and LIKE IT” and the only hope we have as gamers is to speak with our wallets.

Though I love Xbox, even they are moving towards digital only, with Project Helix being rumored to be digital only.  And, with them testing a “disc-to-digital” feature on the Xbox one and series X.

I’m sure everyone has heard already but if you haven't, PlayStation has decided to go fully digital and get rid of physical games in 2028. Everyone is pissed, even die-hard PlayStation fans are pissed. They're getting blasted online in every comment section of everything they post and for good reason!

Too long have we as gamers allowed these billion-dollar companies to get away with FUCKING us. They raise game prices, they raise console prices, everything is a subscription and gaming, which used to be a fun, affordable pastime has slowly become a luxury hobby that people are starting to be priced out of! At the very least, when you had a physical game, you OWNED that game, and you could then play it as long as you wanted, as many times as you wanted and even share the game with others. That's how I think a majority of us got our first games.

PlayStation is trying to take that away from us!
