Here Is Something To Think About: The Lord (Word) Is With You

“And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded: and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The Lord is with you , while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.” ~II Chronicles 15:1-2

The above scripture reminded me how important it is to "think on good things".  Philippians 4:8
Remembering John, Chapter 1 which teaches that God is Word; and that Word gives life, we can encourage ourselves so that we can keep pressing towards the wins in our lives.

Now, here in the Chronicles, it alludes to the fact that if we stick with the Word, it will be with us.  Yet, when we move away from the Word, it seems to move away from us—which technically is all about perspective (because we know that the Word will never

actually leave or forsake us. Deuteronomy 31:6).  Just as you would not think that your favorite watch or piece of jewelry left you if you placed it on dresser or night stand and went off without it; then you should not think that the Word would leave you.

I also often think of the Word as being a set of instructions or a recipe.  If you follow them and use discernment, favorable results should follow.  However, if you/we deviate, unexpected results may occur.

We often make things more complicated than they actually have to be.  Today, I encourage you to take the time and effort to rest, meditate and get back to the current moment.  Take it in. Be appreciative and see how the goodness of the Word applies to you—as you are this day. Be thankful and glad in knowing that --The Lord is with you—and seek guidance from him in directing you to your successful result. ✊🏾
