Do Justice Love Mercy and Walk Humbly with Your God

 

First, Rev. Dr. William Barber, II is an excellent messenger for this message.  I recently listened to a message he delivered circa 2014~2016 that is still very relevant today.  It was both a Word to individuals, and to the nation.  I linked it below, and when you have time it’s worth a listen and a share.

With the recent 2024 election, it is evident that many people have forgotten how to treat people and are leaning to the ways of old out of what I think is fear and bigotry.  Greed may be mixed in as well, but

for the most part seeing the amount of money spent and raised on an election—there should be concern about it all.

 

I believe we all have to do better.  Listening to the primary message in the video brings the realization that we need to stand for something.  Speak up when we know lies are being told.  Report good things that are happening, and who was responsible for it; and give honest opinions about your own personal experiences. 

Stop agreeing and going along just to get along. Everything is not a joke, but serious issues are being treated as if they are because you may not have been affected yet.  But if there is a slim chance that you could be affected in a negative way, you’d better learn to speak up.
