If People Can’t See How Much of A Problem Trump Is, Let Them Be

I personally think it is time for all of the begging, pleading, and cajoling to cease. If people can’t see or refuse to remember how bad Trump and the Republicans were for the average American, then forget about them and focus on the voters and support you do have.

This is a repeat of the 2016 election. Everybody (now including me) spends all their time talking about what that idiot of a buffoon is doing instead of moving forward.  If you are going to talk about him, discuss how it seemed like every day there was a made up self-generated crisis that stressed people

for no reason during his presidency.  Talk about how he constantly lied and grifted at every opportunity he could.  And talk about how there was absolutely nothing he did that was helpful—without the Democratic House and Senate pushing the issue.

Stop the bullshit.  Stop begging people who want to be losers, to do something different.  And when their houses get blown down, flooded out, or burned up and they look for FEMA to help, and they don’t come because they have no money or was done away with—tell them to thank Trump and the Republicans.  And also than them for giving all the money away in tax cuts to their rich friends.

I think the problem with Trump supporters and others who keep voting for conservatives is that they have been enjoying the benefits of what progressives and their Democratic allies have accomplished and haven’t yet felt the pain of what the Republicans and people like Trump have been wanting to serve them.  Project 2025 (of the Heritage Foundation) should really be looked at.  It outlines what the conservatives, with the help of Donald Trump (if he manages to stay out of jail) intends to do.  If you can’t read at that level and understand it all, then I suggest you read a summary of it.  ACLU has a good summary available.  The Heritage Foundation apparently designed the document to mirror many Trump’s previous policies, but could be used by any next Republican President. That’s why Republicans should continue to lose elections.  They want the power but have no idea or desire to actually govern.

Simply put, if you want positive change, then elect progressive people—along with their Democratic allies.
