2026 Elections are about 14 months out. Now is the perfect time to research, make
sure you are registered and come up with a game plan for getting out to the
polls.
As a matter of fact, now is the perfect time to let politicians,
especially Republicans, know that you are not happy about their decisions and
the current state of affairs. Tell them
you plan to vote them out and get rid of their policies. That way, they’ll know and there won’t be any
mistake or confusion as to why they lost.
It is amazing how they try to openly rig things so that even when they lose, they still drag out the process so that they might be able to claim a win. If we make it clear, starting now, that they are going to be held accountable—then all their rigging will hopefully be futile. I want to see them stand before a
reasonable Congress and answer for their actions. And if necessary, be incarcerated. One of the problems with the Civil War was that the traitors
were not held accountable, and even though the south lost the war…their cause
and belief lingers to this day.
Progressives and their Democratic allies have to ensure that
people’s rights are protected. And if
centrist Democrats or “light” Republicans in the Democratic Party get in the
way, they need to be voted out too. This nation has only done well under
Progressive and Democratic Socialist movements.
While modern Republicans try to claim the fruits of progressive
movements, history clearly shows that they were not the authors or participants
of those movements. But were the detractors and opposition to progress.
Most Republicans and unfortunately some Democrats want to be
lobbyists for the rich, promoting corporate welfare instead of
representing the people who put them in office. So, I say fire them from publicly
held positions and let them return to the private sector to do that work. In government, we need representatives “of
the people, by the people and for the people”. Let’s get ready to vote.
