Have y’all seen the White
House lately? It is truly sad that
one baby-man with too much time on his hands, can’t find shit else to do but
cause pain and destruction. The White
House looking crazy all because he wanted to add a ballroom that nobody asked
for and definitely wasn’t approved by Congress.
It is a testament of all the weaklings surrounding him in the
Republican Party. Day by day Trump’s
government demonstrates its inability to actually govern. And that is what we need to call it from now on
to distinguish it. “Trump’s GOP government” aka “Trump GOP gubment”. Because different from other administrations,
his has a distinct brand of incompetence mixed with failure.
I recognize that there is some corruption in all administrations—but the Trump GOP gubment is grossly so. It is sad to see a nation with so much potential be so cruel because of power hungry--imbecilic
politicians, but here we are. The Republican led Congress and Judicial System, including the Supreme Court has a lot to answer for. Sadly, I’m not even sure that Democrats, especially the centrists are up to the task of holding them accountable. That’s why in every election from now until eternity, we must choose to elect bold leaders who will take the responsibility of governing seriously; and who are willing to do the work for the people.The
Preamble to the Constitution (which I don’t think is talked about enough…ever
in life), lays out beautifully what our ideal government should be and
do—and I hope those who run for office will model their aspirations by it.
One last thought for this post: “With mine eyes shall I
behold and see the reward of the wicked”, sayeth the Word (Psalm 91)… and I,
